How does RoomStudio work?
Take or choose a photo of a room, exterior, or garden, pick the space type and a design style, and RoomStudio generates a redesigned version of your photo using AI. You can then save the results you like. You can choose to fully redesign the space or keep its existing structure and layout while restyling the furniture and finishes.
What happens to the photos I upload?
Your photo is sent securely to our service and to our AI provider only to generate your redesign. We do not keep a permanent copy of your photo on our servers after the design is generated — it is processed and then discarded. The finished designs are saved on your device so you can revisit them. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how photos are handled.
How many designs can I create?
You can transform one room for free so you can see how RoomStudio works with your own space. After that, a RoomStudio Pro subscription is required to keep creating designs. Pro gives you generous, fair-use access so you can explore many styles and rooms.
Do the results look exactly like my room?
RoomStudio uses generative AI, so results are creative interpretations inspired by your photo and the style you choose. In structure-preserving mode the layout stays close to your original; in redesign mode the AI has more freedom. Results are meant for inspiration and visualization, not as construction-ready plans.
How do I restore a purchase I already made?
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, open the subscription screen and tap Restore. Your previous purchase will be restored automatically as long as you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used originally.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. To manage or cancel, open the iOS Settings app, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, and select RoomStudio.
Does RoomStudio collect my personal data?
No. RoomStudio does not ask for your name, email, or any personal information to use the app. It works with an anonymous account and only stores anonymous usage and subscription information. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
How do I delete my data?
Because your account is anonymous, deleting the app removes the designs and settings stored on your device. If you'd also like us to delete the anonymous account data associated with your installation, email us at the address below and we'll take care of it.
